The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) took part in the National Tree Week campaign, launched through the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.  The event is held annually in the third week of October.

As part of its support for national efforts to protect the environment and expand green areas across the Kingdom, ASRY began a campaign to plant 100 trees across its internal and external facilities.  The event was launched by Shaikh Duaij bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President for Corporate Support, along with company managers and staff.

Shaikh Duaij bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said the initiative is part of ASRY’s programs supporting environmental sustainability.  It shows ASRY's ongoing effort to play a useful part in national drives to protect the environment and expand green spaces, helping to create a healthier, greener environment for the next generation.
